13,000 cases recontextualized for functional furniture.
We always want to find ways for our work to give something a second life and this project was perfect for it. From 13,000 discarded cases, we were able to make the @casetify Rest Stop. Through a process of grinding these pieces down to create a new substrate, a table and chair set was birthed. We wanted to create a space that could be utilized by the local New York Community to do everything from writing an email to sketching your dreams. This Casetify activation spanned from New York to China, Korea, Thailand, and Australia with multiple collaborators.
